Jessi has a Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis (instruction & curriculum), a Masters in Education Administration, and spent the past 10 years teaching special education in Oakland, California. Prior to teaching in Oakland, she began as an ABA aide, and then became a Consultant for schools and in-home programs in the greater Sacramento. Her teaching philosophy centers joy, individual agency, and relationships. She brings with her connections to the National Equity Project, The National Center for Learning Disabilities, and the Abolitionist Teaching Network, with a strong background in reading instruction and functional project-based learning.
